Amber jars for essential oil products

Ever wondered why we use amber jars as opposed to clear glass or different plastics? 

This is for a couple of reasons:

1. Properties in many essential oils will break down the plastic, which can destroy the oil and often cause leakage.   

2. Essential oils are delicate and sunlight will damage their quality. Amber glass offers protection from most light wavelengths while the blue glass roller bottles we use for our perfume oils also offer adequate protection. The Amber PET jars we use for our body butters and balms  are also safe for essential oils and are recyclable.

So now you know, when shopping for products with essential oils make sure they are packaged correctly to ensure quality.
